I’m Back

Since May, I’ve been suffering from
allergies. That was ok, all I had to do was remove my beloved eyelashes. Well, when November rolled around, I became allergic to my very own home. I’m allergic to dust.
Things had gotten so bad, that I couldn’t wear makeup. Anytime I applied eye makeup, my eyeballs felt as if I had glue in my lids. I went an entire month with no makeup. It was actually refreshing to have a clean face everyday, one less thing to do in the morning.
I saw my holistic doctors, and I am currently on a detox for parasites and chemicals. I also sleep in a face spray that protects me from demodex dust mites. Call me dumb, but I didn’t know that dust was something living. I thought it was an accumulation of loose fabric fibers. I steamed my carpet (which I am removing soon), I steamed all of the pillows on my bed and the tufted headboard. Immediately after that, I started to feel better. I was able to wear makeup today without incident. #grateful!
The last thing that I needed to do was buy new bedding. It’s an investment, but I purchased silk bedding, and dust proof encasements for pillows and the mattress. I’ll keep everyone posted on how everything worked.
XOXO
